I really like the editable poly mode. Taking a box and molding it into a wing or a cylinder and beveling it into a blaster cannon, so many cool things you can do. Below are a couple renders of the first stage of my creation of a Snowspeeder model. This first one is very basic. Just the core shapes and parts. Next I'll add details to the polys and faces, including panels, etchings and windows on the cockpit. Then I'll map and light the scene.
